AIM OF THE PROJECT

This project aims to bring life to the rural community of Alta Langa region. For that, we focus on the creation and promotion of events and festivals related to the history & cultural heritage of the region.

WHAT WILL YOU GAIN?

Volunteers will experience themselves outside of their local reality, they will discover new passions, and enhance hidden talents. This project provides learning opportunities in the field of cultural heritage, events organization and social media management.

We are Parco Culturale Alta Langa and alongside New Wellness Education and Vagamondo we created the VITALITY project. We will be your hosting organization for the next 8.5 or 10 months, where we will implement activities together, supporting you in developing your ideas and providing space for personal growth.

WHO ARE WE?

ABOUT VAGAMONDO

VAGAMONDO is an NGO focused on European mobility, non-formal education and rural development based in Italy. It provides learning and growing opportunities to young people and youth workers.

The name Vagamondo comes from the concept of travel as a powerful tool of self-discovery and personal development: it is through direct contact with cultural and personal differences that identity becomes more visible to every individual; it is coming out of the comfort zone, getting involved in new activities, different than the usual ones, that people can identify room to grow and work on themselves.

Our vision is to contribute to the development of society, to promote, disseminate and apply through education the values of equality, freedom and care for the environment.

Vagamondo is active in the European Solidarity Corps as supporting and hosting organization since 2017.

  • From Jo

"I have never been surrounded with so many different people from every corner of Europe, and also felt this sense of community before. Staying in the infinite landscape of Piemonte, surrounded by breathtaking nature and passionate people have changed me to the core. I am forever grateful, and will always have a part of me there that I long to visit again (mainly Dante tbh)"

  • From Rita

“I feel very proud that I got the courage to go on this adventure and very happy with the moments I got to experience. I was trying new things and it worked because I always got something from those experiences.”
